Halkbank Men’s team who will host CEV Denizbank Champions League Final Four has visited Anadolu Agency.

Halkbank Men’s team who will host CEV Denizbank Champions League Final Four has visited Anadolu Agency. Halkbank who will take part in CEV Denizbank Men’s Champions League Final Four which will be held in Ankara on 22-23 March has visited Anadolu Agency. Halkbankspor board members Mehmet Tufekci, Dr. Atakan Mermer, Muhammet Zaim and coach Radostin Stoytchev and the players attended the visit.

Anadolu Agency Deputy General Manager and Chief Editor Omer Eksi mentioned that they are very happy to host Halkbank and said: “I hope you will achieve your dreams and we will announce your success in 7 different languages to the world”. Mr. Eksi than informed his guests about Anadolu Agency’s broadcasting languages within company’s 100th year vision.

Halkbankspor board member Mehmet Tufekci pointed out that final four will be held in Ankara and said: “Last season we won the football’s UEFA Cup in volleyball. This season we have raised the bar. We have transferred world class players. I hope we will do our best to win the Champions League Cup.”

Most Important Tournament

Halkbank coach Stoytchev stated that by hosting the organization they will have the opportunity to play against the strongest teams of Europe at home. Stoytchev thanked to Halkbank executives for bringing Final Four to Ankara and said: “We will play in the toughest and the most important tournament in Europe. World’s strongest teams compete in Champions League. We respect to all teams participating in final four. We are ready to do our best. We are ready to compete against everyone. We have no fear”.  

Halkbank’s world famous player and team captain Matey Kaziyski also stated that participating in final four is an honor for both Halkbank and Turkish volleyball. He said “there has been nearly no Turkish Men’s team participating in final four before” and added “Firstly we are very happy that we will play in final four. We have been in a serious preparation program for a long time. I hope we will do our best and come out with an excellent result. I ask the volleyball fans in Ankara to support us by filling the stands. I hope we will win the cup”.

After the talks, the cake writing “success wishes on the way to final four” on it was cut.

A jersey signed by the players and a volleyball were presented to Anadolu Agency Deputy General Manager and Chief Editor Mr. Eksi.
